Términos y condiciones
Please read carefully so you know what to expect — and so everyone has a good time.
We know a page full of terms and conditions looks scary, but please take the time to read through them. They have been created to make sure you know the nature of the event, and to make sure everyone has a good time. Thank you for your patience, and your interest in GNI.
GNI Rules at The Gathering
- This is a nude event for men aged 21 and over. Clothing is permitted only for medical conditions, inclement weather, and as a costume for stage performers and theme parties. First-time attendees may participate in our clothing-optional weekend; clothing is permitted only during Opening Weekend [for 2026, from arrival on Friday, August 21 until 2 pm on Sunday, August 23].
- Cameras can be used only in photo-approved zones. Always ask permission before taking anyone’s photo. Do not take photos of anyone wearing a red dot / red card (no photo) name badge.
- Red dot / red card wearers should not participate in any high-profile contests, shows, or activities that attract photographers where cameras may be used.
- The use of video cameras is prohibited. Violators may be expelled from camp without refund.
- No photographs of camp signs or camp staff. Posting photos of camp signs or staff — or tagging the camp on social media — is strictly prohibited.
- Your name badge must be with you at all times and must be worn at all meals.
- Always sit on a towel.
- No indoor smoking (includes e-cigarettes). Please dispose of all cigarettes properly.
- No littering.
- No open displays of sexual activity on the “near” side of the lake.
- No nudity on buses, within sight of camp boundaries, or off-premise.
- No illegal substances, drugs, firearms, or weapons of any kind on the campgrounds. Authorities may be notified and violators expelled without refund. This is a drug-free event.
- No fires except in designated campfire areas.
- Monitor your own health (bring your own COVID antigen self-tests) and report any suspected COVID-19 or other medical issues to GNI staff.
- No pets.
Before you register, please read our Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy. You will be subject to this policy, so it’s best to know what to expect.
Check-In / Check-Out Policy
Please arrive at or after the check-in time found on your Front Gate Pass. The gate will otherwise be closed and monitored by security.
Although you may arrive after hours at the Front Gate, no one will be available to complete your check-in in the GNI Business Office between 10 pm and 9 am. The Front Gate will not allow new arrivals onto the camp property after 10:00 pm, so if you plan to arrive late, please arrive before 10:00 pm or plan to arrive the following morning after 9 am and come to the GNI Business Office to complete check-in.
Check-out time any day of the week is 11:00 am. Attendees departing on any day other than ending Sunday must officially check out at the Front Gate by 11:00 am. Those who stay beyond 11:00 am will be charged for an extra day at the published rate. Those who don’t check out at the Front Gate will be charged through ending Sunday.
By registering for The Gathering, you agree to:
- Keep a valid credit card on file with GNI.
- Authorize your credit card to be charged if you stay beyond your checkout time.
GNI Photo Policy
Please respect and abide by these rules, question those who may be misinformed, and, if you cannot resolve an issue, contact a Board or Staff member immediately.
- Those wishing to not be photographed must indicate so on their registration form. They will be issued a GNI Name Badge that is red, contained in a red holder, or affixed with a red dot or red stripe (a “Red Tagged Badge”).
- Photographers and videographers must be mindful of members wearing Red Tagged Badges. You may not take their photo without their permission.
- Photographers and videographers must also be mindful of “No Photo” zones that may be posted in certain areas or at certain activities. Taking photos or videos of people in those areas is not permitted.
- Except during certain sanctioned photo opportunities, the taking of photos or videos is always prohibited in the Dance Club.
- Red Tagged Badge wearers should not participate in high-profile contests, shows, or activities where it is impossible to segregate themselves from non-red-tagged wearers (e.g., on stage). If a Red Tagged Badge wearer does participate, they are giving tacit approval to be photographed.
- Red card holders are responsible for ensuring their badge is visible at all times. If red card holders pose for the staff photographer, they are giving implicit consent to have their photo taken and used by GNI.
- For smaller events — especially those organized around photography — the organizer may establish rules specific to that event. Red Tagged Badge wearers should notify the organizer of their status. Photographers should proactively seek consent from participants regardless of badge status.
To ensure the privacy and security of our guests and the exclusivity of this event, all attendees must adhere to the following Social Media & Privacy Policy. By attending, you agree to these terms.
1. Restricted Content
To maintain the confidentiality of our location, attendees are strictly prohibited from sharing the following on any digital platform:
- Venue name: Do not mention, type, or tag the name of the camp in any post.
- Location details: Do not share the physical address, neighborhood, or “Check-In” via GPS location services.
- Identifying visuals: Photographs or videos of the camp’s signage, or unique architectural features that could identify the location, are prohibited.
- Staff privacy: Photos or videos featuring camp staff, or mentions of staff names, are strictly forbidden.
2. Tagging & Mentions
The use of tags, @mentions, or hashtags related to the camp’s official accounts or its physical location is prohibited across all platforms, including but not limited to:
- Social networks: Instagram, Facebook, X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, etc.
- Messaging apps: WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, etc.
- Video platforms: TikTok, YouTube, Vimeo, Snapchat, etc.
3. Photography Guidelines
While we encourage you to capture memories with fellow guests, please ensure your photos use a “tight frame” (close-ups of people) to avoid capturing the background or identifying characteristics of the venue. Avoid photographs of any “red card” holder. Always ask for consent to take a photo of another attendee first.
4. Enforcement
GNI reserves the right to request the immediate removal of any post that violates these terms. Failure to comply with this policy may result in removal from the event and/or restriction from future Gatherings.
Acts of War, Pandemics & Natural Disasters
In the event The Gathering is cancelled, postponed, or cannot be held due to acts of war, pandemics, natural disaster, hurricanes, floods or other weather emergencies, public unrest, terrorism, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of GNI, GNI shall not be obligated to refund any Gathering registration fees, either in full or in part, unless approved on a case-by-case basis by the Board of Directors of GNI.
It is your responsibility to protect your travel investment; we recommend you purchase travel insurance from an authorized agent.
WiFi Access
WiFi access is available in limited areas, although the network is unsecured. Information sent to or from your device can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and appropriate software within range of the access point. We cannot provide technical assistance and are unable to guarantee a wireless connection.
Weather
The Gathering takes place in the Pocono Mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania. Evenings can be cool, and it may even rain, so plan accordingly. Forecasts will be posted daily on the information board by the camp’s main office.
Cash, Valuables & Security
Registration fees cover all your expenses for the week. There is no need to bring large sums of cash, although you may want to shop at the GNI Craft Fair or purchase something at the Naturist Action Committee (NAC) auction. Credit cards are accepted at the GNI store and auction.
Please leave valuables at home — we do not provide a safe, locked room, or secure area. You can purchase a portable safe at a nearby office supply store and keep it with you in your cabin, or if you drive to camp, leave valuables locked in your trunk.
Understandably, you will need to bring driver’s licenses, passports, credit cards, cash, laptops, notebooks, cell phones, etc. You are responsible for your own security.
